In case you wondered, I haven’t been posting here regularly during the AO as I’ve been writing for Tennis Now throughout the fortnight.
Tonight’s Women’s Final should be a good one, and yes a loud one, as Victoria Azarenka and Maria Sharapova face off to not only decide the title but also the No. 1 ranking, the last time that’s happened since the 2009 AO Final between Dinara Safina and Serena Williams. Azarenka and Sharapova are 3-3 lifetime so this is a bit of a toss up.
The match starts at 7pm Melbourne time or 3am EST. Let me me know your thoughts on who’s going to be the new Queen of Melbourne.
