Federer Out of Indian Wells?

This just in. According to Peter Bodo at Tennis.com, Roger Federer will most likely pull out of Indian Wells as he is still dealing with an ongoing lung infection. This isn’t 100% confirmed but it wouldn’t surprise me.

The WTA also just announced that Dinara Safina will not compete in the tournament due to her ongoing back injury.

Didn’t I tell you a few weeks ago that injuries and health would be the No. 1 story for 2010?
