New #1 Serena Loses to Petrova in Beijing.

Yes Serena is the real number one player on the women’s tour. But her celebration was cut short after loosing a tough three setter to Nadia Petrova in Beijing 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (5).

Petrova, whose season has been all over the place this year, credited her strong serve for the win.

How long Serena stays in the top spot remains to be seen but she certainly should be happy with her buff bod displayed on the cover of this week’s ESPN magazine.
